Write about a feeling that took you by surprise

 Prompt Response: A feeling that once took me by surprise was nostalgia. I was out with my friends one time and I passed by the game store, and saw a video game that I had always played with my brother or cousin when we were younger. It was being played on a small part of the store where you can try the games out and I could just see two friends playing the game. It was split screen and in that moment I was hit with a sense of nostalgia because that´s how I would always play it years ago. I tried the game out and it was a lot of fun, so much so that I didn´t want to leave but I had to.

Summary: Today we read and annotated the ¨Out, Out¨ poem by Robert Frost in class, it was about a kid who stopped paying attention for a second and a freak accident killed him because of a saw taking his hand off and him bleeding out.

Reflection: I learned how to better analyze and annotate a poem then find out the themes in the poem. I can also better explain these themes and split them up into categories and then organize them into a venn diagram.
