Describe a time when you had to speak in front of an audience. What were your fears? How did you handle them? What advice would you give to someone struggling with stage fright?
Prompt: The time I had to speak in front of an audience was last year in 10th grade. It was for my world history class. One of my fears was that I would mess up some of the words and lose my place in the process. The way I handled that fear was to practice the material before hand and make sure I didn't need to rely on it too much. Some advice I would give to someone who is struggling with stage fright is to practice your material beforehand and make sure you understand and not just solely memorizing it.]
Summary: We worked on some notes that helped us prepare for our presentations on Monday.
Reflection: I stayed at home today due to me being sick. Even though this was the case I still did the assignment and I think that it is going to be very helpful. There was a lot of useful information I will be using to present the material.
