If you had to write a poem about your life RIGHT NOW, what would it be about? Explain your answer in at least 4 to 5 sentences.

 Prompt: If I had to write a poem about my life right now it would be about how privileged I am. In our daily life we take so many things for granted that many people don't have and they wish they did. It is a privilege to be able to go to school. It is a privilege to be able to do homework. But even then we are not grateful and we need to change that type of mindset, including me.

Summary: Today we had an assignment where we have to make a poem on things Jefferson has said in his diary. We split them up and make them make sense.

Reflection: I felt that this assignment was fun because it was different. I have never done a poem in which I could take what someone else has said and broke up to my own poem. It was also very interesting because the character could not read or write well, so the grammar was off. This made for a different but interesting poem.
