Tariffs are often designed to encourage people to buy American-made products. When you shop, do you check where products come from? Would you be willing to pay more for something made in the U.S.? Why or why not?

 Prompt: I do not necessarily consider where the products come from when I shop. That being said, I would pay more for American products if they are better. It supports the country and creates jobs when I purchase them. But if it’s too expensive, I would most likely choose the less expensive option. It really depends upon the product and how much more it is.
